Chloë is an artist, teacher, athlete, hiker, wilderness guide, public speaker, and world traveler, and has been working with children and adults since 2006.
She is a certified Wilderness First Responder (WFR), licensed Maine Recreational Guide, and Red Cross Waterfront Lifeguard. In 2018, she solo thru-hiked the entire 2,191mi Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine.
Chloë enjoys teaching yoga to students of all ages and abilities. She received her Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga teacher certification in 2017 and her Yin Yoga teacher certification in 2021.
For the past 18 years, Chloë has led summer programs for youth in Maine. These programs include art, outdoor exploration, swimming, hiking, yoga, Ultimate frisbee, and much more. She is currently the Executive Director of Growing Routes, a Maine-based nonprofit she founded in 2018, which runs small-group programs that nurture confidence, creativity, and compassion.
Chloë is the co-owner of Portland Rising, Maine’s first ever women’s professional Ultimate frisbee team. She has coached coed Ultimate frisbee and run several youth Ultimate camps. In 2015, Chloë played on the US Women’s National Team at the World Ultimate Frisbee Championships.
In 2016, Chloë graduated from Colorado College, where she double majored in Education and Studio Art. She is also a graduate of Merriconeag Waldorf School (now Maine Coast Waldorf) and Waynflete High School.
In addition to the summer programs Chloë offers through Growing Routes, she also guides wilderness adventures, leads hikes, runs retreats and workshops, teaches yoga, coordinates events including weddings, and does private and public speaking engagements. Contact to learn more!
